Yoko Harada, a botanical artist, initiated her journey with Elaine Searle in the UK (2010). Graduating with distinction and the Top of Class award from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) Diploma Course in Botanical Illustration (2018), she now studies under Mieko Ishikawa in Tokyo. 

Yoko exhibited at the 2018 American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA) Worldwide in Tokyo and RBGE 2020 Florilegium in Edinburgh. Her artworks received a Gold Medal and Best Botanical Artwork award at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Botanical Art and Photography Show (2022) at the Saatchi Gallery in London, and the Best in Show award at ASBA 26th Annual International (2023) at the Marin Art and Garden Center in San Francisco.

Her artwork has been accepted for the ASBA and New York Botanical Garden’s Fifth Triennial Exhibition, Curious Allies (2024). She received the Best in Show award at Botanical Art Thailand held at the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (2024). Her work has also been accepted for the 17th International Exhibition at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh (2024). In the same year, she was honored with the ASBA Lizzie Sanders New Artist Award.

In 2025, her two artworks are accepted for the ASBA Global Exhibition for the Japan Chapter. She is also selected for the Botanical Artist in Residence Program at the Oak Spring Garden Foundation.

原田洋子、ボタニカルアーティストとしての歩みを2010年から英国在住のElaine Searleのもとで開始した。2018年にエディンバラ王立植物園（RBGE）のボタニカル・イラストレーション修士課程を優秀な成績で卒業し、最優秀賞を受賞した。現在は東京で石川美枝子氏に指導を受けている。

2018年には、アメリカ・ボタニカルアーティスト協会（ASBA）「ワールドワイド」日本展およびRBGE 2020「Florilegium」エディンバラ展に出展。2022年にはロンドンのサーチ・ギャラリーで開催された英国王立園芸協会（RHS）ボタニカルアート＆フォトグラフィーショーにおいて金メダルと最優秀ボタニカルアート賞を受賞。2023年には、サンフランシスコのマリン・アート＆ガーデンセンターで開催されたASBA第26回国際展で「Best in Show（最優秀賞）」を受賞した。

2024年には、ASBAとニューヨーク植物園共催の第5回トリエンナーレ展「Curious Allies」に作品が採択され、バンコク・アート＆カルチャーセンターで開催された「Botanical Art Thailand」でも「Best in Show（最優秀賞）」を受賞。同年、ピッツバーグのハント研究所「第17回国際展」にも作品が採択された。また、ASBA Lizzie Sanders New Artist Awardを受賞している。

2025年には、ASBA「グローバル・エキシビション」日本展に2作品が採択され、さらにオーク・スプリング・ガーデン財団の「ボタニカル・アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・プログラム」に選出された。
